Will You Be Admitted

Each year the average admissions officer at a college in the United States sifts through more than 10.000 applicants. Most of these students are well qualified for admission. But there is a difference in being “qualified” and being “acceptable.“ Knowing how to submit an application package that deems the student “acceptable” is crucial. With record numbers of applications, colleges have never had more choices among the stacks of candidates. The competition is overwhelming.

High grade point averages and standardized test scores no longer a guarantee admission to America’s most prestigious colleges. However, gaining admission to college is not entirely about grades and SAT/ACT scores. Each student is viewed as a variety of different components that are showcased in the college application. Together they determine if the student is “acceptable.”

Each element of the college application is designed to illustrate different aspects of the student. Every piece of the puzzle is assembled to portray the individual candidate. The application must be memorable and well packaged to stand out among the 10,000 others.

Early planning allows students to lay out the pieces of the puzzle. Once assembled, the different portions of the application should fit together and display a complete picture of the candidate. Let College Consulting International provide the guidance and expertise in putting the pieces of your college application package together.
