Biography

Georgia Fox received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She pursued advanced education degrees at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where she obtained her credentials in counseling, secondary, elementary, and special education. She worked for many years as a high school counselor specializing in college admissions at Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, California.

After spending several years in the private sector, she returned to her original passion of counseling. She spent time working at the American International School in Sydney, Australia. During that time she realized the void that existed for expatriate and international students desiring to study in the United States. While the college admissions process has become much more complex, many expatriates and international students are unaware of the massive changes. It was that reality that created the concept for College Consulting International to provide college admissions consulting to the expatriate and international communities. Georgia is a strong advocate of the value of an international education and the global experience. For that reason, she focuses on helping these unique applicants distinguish themselves in the highly competitive applicant pool in the United States.
